Cloud Engineer
You will do the following in this job:
Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
Designing, developing, and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
Build a modern, automated, continuously delivered distributed system.
Apply various system policies and operations procedures.
Liaise with vendors/clients to ensure the service quality is maintained.
To be responsible for IT infrastructure systems implementation, administration, and maintenance in a mixed environment of both on-premises and public cloud to deliver services in high availability.
Technologies evaluation and tools developed to improve operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues together with Developers/System Engineers and prevent future issues.
Troubleshoot system operations and infrastructure level performance problems.
We are looking for you if you are:
Minimum 2 years of experience working on Cloud or Application Development.
Experience in Container Management and container orchestration - Docker, Kubernetes.
Knowledge of best practices in operational processes, DevOps, deployment checklists, and more.
The ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (experience with either AWS or Google is required) is preferred.
Experience in Spring Framework, NodeJS, Hibernate, or ORM Tools are preferred.
Experience in SQL and NoSQL (e.g., Mongo and Redis) are preferred.
A good understanding of technologies and experience in building a highly scalable and fault-tolerant system is preferred.
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
Experience with Monitoring and log analytics tools. (e.g. Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana)

Would be great if you are:
Experience in Infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Experience in Machine Learning development in Cloud.
Cloud platform certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure) owner.
Strong experience in coding and script (e.g.Java8+, Kotlin, Node.js; Bash).
Experience in Functional/Reactive Programming.
Familiar with Queueing Theory, BigData concepts, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Camel, Machine Learning technologies, and environments.
Experience in Linux system administration with skills and knowledge on virtualization, automation, basic network configuration, network & systems security.
Strong leader that can implement agile/lean practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter, capable of working without direction, and able to deliver projects from scratch.
