Responsibilities‍

• Own hybrid infrastructure across on‑premise servers and cloud environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance
• Build CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment across development, staging, and production
• Administer MongoDB including backups, replication, indexing, performance tuning, and data integrity
• Manage container services using Docker and evaluate orchestration needs as the platform scales
• Establish monitoring with alerting, logging, and incident response processes to strengthen resilience
• Maintain security through patching, access controls, and server hardening across environments
• Document platform knowledge including architecture, codebase, integrations, and dependencies for institutional use
• Ensure platform stability by owning uptime, performance, and reliability, especially during live events
• Resolve issues effectively with clear prioritization and maintain backup/recovery procedures
• Design integrations with payment gateways, CRM, logistics, and data providers
• Support enhancements and translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Coordinate team by directing tasks, reviewing output, and maintaining quality as the team grows
• Adopt AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, testing, and code review workflows
• Advise leadership with practical recommendations and implement agreed directions
• Collaborate with vendors to build platform understanding and ensure continuity

Requirements‍

• 5+ years’ experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or software engineering with production ownership
• Experience with complex platforms including navigating technical debt and partial documentation
• Strong architecture knowledge of web applications, REST APIs, and integrations with debugging ability
• Reliability expertise in systems involving payment processing or transaction logic
• Hybrid infrastructure skills across on‑premise servers and cloud environments
• Database administration in MongoDB or NoSQL production environments
• CI/CD proficiency in build, test, and deployment automationLinux administration with command‑line service management and system health monitoring
• Mobile deployment for Android and iOS applications
• Cloud expertise in Ali Cloud, AWS, and Cloudflare ecosystems
• Testing proficiency in unit and UI testing
• Framework knowledge of Laravel MVC, Nuxt/Next JS, Vuex/Pinia, React Native, and Redux
• Docker expertise with container technology and scripting
• Self‑directed ownership with clear upward communication
• Language skills in English and Cantonese preferred
