Infrastructure Project Manager (Technical PM)

Responsibilities :
- Lead infrastructure projects including network upgrades, server migrations, data center consolidation, cloud deployments, office relocations, and IT transformation programs.
- Develop and maintain project documentation such as detailed plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and schedules using tools like Confluence and Jira.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, applying Agile methodology.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, creating contingency plans when necessary.
- Manage project changes through formal change control processes and coordinate updates across teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry best practices, and regulatory standards.
- Act as the main communication channel for project updates, status reports, and escalations.
- Prepare and distribute clear, timely reports covering progress, risks, budgets, and milestones.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, steering committees, and daily stand-ups, ensuring agendas and follow-up actions are documented.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain alignment on project objectives and outcomes.
- Develop and oversee project budgets and forecasts.
- Track infrastructure-related costs, including hardware, software, labor, and vendor expenses, with clear Capex and Opex reporting.
- Handle procurement processes, including RFP preparation, bid evaluation, and vendor selection.
- Provide financial analysis, highlighting variances between actual and budgeted costs, and explaining discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ACP, or equivalent project management credentials are highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on IT and infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability in managing infrastructure-focused initiatives and tasks.
- Strong proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively across all three languages.
