- Lead group-level infrastructure and operational related projects; supervise and perform periodic review with hotel IT managers; mentor team members and provide guidance in relation to infrastructure and operations
- Drive technology aspects of IT operations including evaluation, planning, design, implementation, monitoring and future upgrades of IT systems and applications such as data and voice communications, infrastructure (e.g. firewall, Internet connectivity, networking equipment etc.), PCs, server, operating systems, database, email, security, backup/ business continuity plan, in-room/ function-room technology, broadband Internet access and various application systems
- Update and maintain IT policy and standards
- Review and monitor all IT related systems at hotel level and ensure that corporate standards and guidelines are complied
- Plan, execute, and finalize new hotel and renovation projects according to deadlines and within budget; acquire resources and coordinate efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants to deliver the project according to plan
- Define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle
- Keep up-to-date with new technology developments and evaluate their suitability for infrastructure & operations
- Manage IT budget and contract in the areas of responsibility and review hotels’ Capex proposals
- Liaise with IT security, audit and operations teams to ensure proper measures are in place
- Manage operational tasks to achieve division goals and plan, develop, and monitor division budget
- Design and ensure a secure, reliable, scalable, compliant and efficient infrastructure and operations

- Minimum 7-8 years’ experience in IT operations management in leading, developing or supporting large-scale systems, previous experience in hospitality or international-scale B2C industry preferred
- A recognized University degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
- Experience in hotel management systems, point of sale systems and hotel-related application systems
- Knowledge of network systems and administration including firewalls, switches, and routers and troubleshooting hotel specific issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technology projects to relevant parties
- Excellent task management and organization skills; ability to handle critical time sensitive deadlines effectively
- Demonstrated capability in leading IT initiatives and managing sizable technology projects in a complex and dynamic environment; proven track record of managing key stakeholders across the organization and third-party vendors
- Well versed in infrastructure technologies including experiences in hands-on technical roles in system management, systems/network administration and development, together with IT infrastructure processes, techniques, risks, best practices, security/ change management principles and practices
- ITIL certification with related working experiences would be an advantage
- Familiar with Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, AliCloud, Cloud application systems and its deployment in China
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
