Major Responsibilities

• Manage application development team to conduct feasibility studies, system design, development, implementation, and production support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners, UAT, DevOps, and vendors to ensure deliverables meet business objectives.
• Ensure project delivery by meeting deadlines with high-quality software outcomes.
• Evaluate systems for effectiveness, manage problem analysis, diagnosis, maintenance, and enhancements.
• Define coding standards and conduct code reviews while staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Provide staff supervision with guidance, promoting professional growth and technical excellence.
• Perform assigned duties and contribute to projects as directed.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Extensive development experience with at least 15 years in software development, focusing on cloud-native technologies and expertise in
• Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration; financial sector or payment systems knowledge preferred.
• Backend proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), and RESTful APIs.
• Frontend knowledge including JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue.js), HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• DevOps expertise with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and DevOps practices.
• Database management across SQL and NoSQL systems.
• AI-assisted development using tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude to enhance efficiency and productivity is an advantage.
• Leadership and communication skills with ability to manage remote teams and perform under pressure.
• Adaptability with willingness to learn legacy and new business systems.
• Language proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.
