Key Responsibilities‍

• Team leadership: Direct and oversee a group of application development specialists in conducting feasibility studies, system design, coding, implementation, and ongoing production support.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, UAT teams, DevOps, and external vendors to ensure deliverables align with organizational goals.
• Project delivery: Guarantee timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of software quality.
• System evaluation: Assess system performance, manage issue analysis, and oversee maintenance and enhancements of application platforms.
• Standards enforcement: Establish and implement coding guidelines, conduct code reviews, and stay updated on industry innovations and emerging technologies.
• Staff development: Provide mentorship, encourage professional growth, and foster technical excellence within the team.
• Additional duties: Carry out other tasks or projects as required.

Qualifications‍

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years in software development, with strong expertise in cloud-native technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Background in financial services or payment systems is advantageous.
• Backend proficiency: Skilled in Java, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), and RESTful API development.
• Frontend knowledge: Familiar with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• DevOps expertise: Experienced with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and DevOps
• practices.
• Database management: Knowledgeable in SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• AI-assisted tools: Experience using AI-powered development assistants (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to improve efficiency and code quality is a plus.
• Leadership skills: Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of managing distributed teams under pressure.
• Adaptability: Quick learner with initiative to understand both legacy and new business domains.
• Language proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is an advantage.
