Major Responsibilities

• Design application architectures including microservices, APIs, data models, and integration patterns.
• Ensure high availability with low latency and seamless horizontal scaling in application design.
• Define modernization roadmap for iterative cloud-native migration and system upgrades.
• Promote best practices by defining, enforcing, and standardizing architectural patterns and CI/CD processes.
• Participate in review boards to ensure alignment with organizational strategic roadmaps.
• Review project solutions to confirm consistency with group architecture roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance to prevent technical debt and ensure sustainable solutions.
• Align solutions with IT strategies, business capabilities, reuse principles, and vendor strategies.
• Assess industry trends to keep platforms competitive and future-proof.
• Perform assigned duties and contribute to projects as directed.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience with at least 15 years in software engineering, including 5+ years in application architecture design.
• Large-scale deployment experience in designing and deploying applications in production environments.
• Cloud expertise with AWS or GCP platforms, containerization, and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• API and messaging knowledge with expertise in API design and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Database proficiency in relational and NoSQL solutions.
• DevOps skills with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and DevOps practices.
• Exceptional communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Language proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua is an advantage.
