Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud design, governance, and security configuration, ensuring best practices in networking, compliance, and multi-cloud workload foundations.
• Architect and manage global cloud transit networks using hub-and-spoke connectivity across regions, remote users, on-premise data centers, and SaaS services.
• Identify and implement top cloud architecture solutions to meet strategic business needs.
• Conduct architecture reviews, approvals, and root cause analysis for complex issues; develop strategies for governance, resilience, disaster recovery, portability, and seamless multi-cloud exit planning.
• Review and optimize data architecture patterns (collection, ingestion, processing) with integrations to AI model development platforms such as Pub/Sub, CloudRun, Cloud Storage, Kafka, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Vertex AI.
• Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives, including resource forecasting, business case development, TCO analysis, application assessment, and migration planning.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, DevOps, security, and compliance teams to define and implement best practices in multi-cloud deployment and governance.
• Regularly evaluate new cloud design patterns, approved services catalogues, and security policies.
• Independently lead design workshops and deliver complex projects leveraging public cloud native services.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in public cloud architecture and strategy across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Strong technical skills with a positive attitude and proven ability to collaborate across organizations.
• Deep understanding of landing zone architecture, cloud networking, and cloud security concepts, including automation repositories, DevOps pipelines, IAM, security controls, billing, cost management, monitoring, and logging.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, AI security, and cloud security governance.
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting public cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to articulate cloud design services to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
