Major Responsibilities

• Oversee network operations and security infrastructure on the private cloud platform, ensuring stability, resilience, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Serve as SME and system owner for network and security infrastructure, managing product lifecycle, patching, evergreening, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Manage end-to-end infrastructure including architecture design, dataline connectivity, routing, firewall, proxy, direct connect, and security tools such as Cloud Firewall, ELB, VPN, and sandbox.
• Lead troubleshooting of issues, risks, incidents, and irregularities, preparing incident/problem reports and driving corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Support new deployments and application onboarding to the cloud platform, assisting with connectivity, performance, and infrastructure-related concerns.
• Collaborate with teams including Cloud Architecture, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to design and implement solutions aligned with business needs.
• Provide emergency support through on-call and onsite response to critical production incidents.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience with at least 8 years in network/security infrastructure, including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role within major financial institutions.
• Hands-on expertise in operations covering architecture, dataline connectivity, routing, firewall, proxy, direct connect, and tools such as ELB, VPN, and sandbox.
• Cloud knowledge of cloud computing technologies including Cloud Firewall and WAF is advantageous.
• Vendor experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Huawei network equipment preferred.
• ITSM familiarity with ITSM processes and financial industry compliance standards beneficial.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills in presentation, documentation, and reporting.
• Language proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is a plus.
