Responsibilities :

• Participate in evaluating products, services, and vendors to enhance infrastructure operations.
• Ensure hardware, software, and cloud technologies are continuously assessed to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Provide guidance on critical emerging applications and infrastructure technologies.
• Develop strategies, directions, and roadmaps for infrastructure platforms to meet business capability and capacity needs, leveraging benchmarking and best practices.
• Support infrastructure teams in defining architecture standards and strategies aligned with industry practices, enabling scalable, high‑performance environments.
• Conduct architecture reviews, approvals, and root cause analyses for complex issues, and establish strategies for governance, resilience, disaster recovery, and security baselines across hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Assist infrastructure teams in analyzing, recommending, and resolving platform technology issues.
• Apply Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and AI agents to enhance platform operations.
• Review and validate infrastructure solutions for complex or non‑standard configurations proposed by project teams.
• Carry out infrastructure‑related tasks in line with IT support strategies for overseas branches.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and standards, performing duties with integrity.
• Adhere to established risk control procedures to identify, assess, report, mitigate, and monitor risks in daily operations.

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably over 12 years of IT experience, with solid expertise in infrastructure and cloud architecture within Hong Kong financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of microservices platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, EKS, GKE), storage, databases, and WAN/LAN network design.
• Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure technologies, including cloud platforms (Private Cloud, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud), servers, networks, storage, endpoints, databases, middleware, virtualization, and application development tools/processes.
• Excellent collaboration, analytical, and technical skills.
• CISSP or CISA certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus, especially for Greater Bay Area integration.
