Key Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of FinTech initiatives and manage production services for FinTech platforms.
• Partner with stakeholders such as the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong Association of Banks, and industry players to identify and build new technology solutions.
• Support division leadership in shaping and executing technology policies, strategic roadmaps, and transformation programs aligned with business and regulatory needs.
• Lead multiple cross-functional teams across internal units and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Direct division-level planning, resource allocation, and risk management, addressing assumptions, dependencies, and synergies, while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor teams to design secure, resilient, and interoperable technology solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of IT/FinTech experience with 5+ years in managerial roles at major financial institutions for Senior Manager; 8+ years with 3+ years in management for Manager.
• Strong leadership in managing diverse technology teams including architects, engineers, DevOps, cybersecurity, and site reliability specialists.
• Solid portfolio management skills with agile delivery methods, capable of designing and implementing solutions using modern technologies.
• Proven expertise in enterprise architecture and solution design for large-scale distributed systems with microservices.
• Experience managing concurrent projects at portfolio level, proactively handling risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Skilled in governance practices ensuring applications are secure, reliable, and interoperable.
• Background in change, incident, and problem management.
• Knowledge of site reliability engineering is advantageous but not essential.
• Deep understanding of emerging FinTech trends and technologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the financial sector.
• Strong communication skills in English, Chinese, and Putonghua.
