Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – AI Solutions to architect, implement, and deliver intelligent applications that merge advanced AI/ML capabilities with enterprise-grade software systems. Reporting to the Manager (AI Solutions), this position blends expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and full-stack development to create scalable, secure, and cutting-edge solutions across FinTech and enterprise environments.The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about emerging technologies, with a proven track record in both AI engineering and end-to-end software development.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering

• Collect, preprocess, and transform data from varied sources.
• Build and maintain resilient data pipelines in line with governance and compliance standards.

AI/ML Model Development

• Research, design, and validate machine learning and deep learning models.
• Customize and integrate commercial/open-source AI platforms (Azure ML, Hugging Face, Watsonx, Dify).
• Perform bias/error analysis and fine-tune models for production deployment.

Software Engineering

• Lead FinTech initiatives such as trade finance, digital currency, and blockchain integration.
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle: design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and release.
• Partner with vendors and stakeholders to ensure delivery meets scope, timeline, and budget.

Deployment & Integration

• Containerize models and applications, expose APIs, and embed AI into enterprise platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across cloud and hybrid environments.

Monitoring & Optimization

• Deploy monitoring solutions to track accuracy, drift, and system performance.
• Continuously refine models and applications for compliance, scalability, and efficiency.

Documentation & Enablement

• Produce clear technical documentation and deliver training sessions.
• Establish best practices and contribute to internal AI/software frameworks.

Research & Innovation

• Stay current with AI, blockchain, and cloud technology advancements.
• Experiment with emerging techniques and recommend adoption for measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in AI/ML engineering or data science.
• Demonstrated portfolio of deployed AI models and enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go.
• Practical experience with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), SQL, and cloud AI/ML platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Skilled in frameworks and tools: Spring Boot, NodeJS, Terraform, Ansible, Nginx, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow.
• Knowledge of blockchain frameworks (Hyperledger, Ethereum) and cryptographic protocols (SSL/TLS, symmetric/asymmetric encryption).
• Strong analytical skills with a foundation in statistics, data ethics, and governance.
• Excellent communication abilities; capable of translating technical concepts into actionable insights.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is preferred.
