Responsibilities :

• Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of computer systems supporting both application development and production environments.
• Oversee hardware and software evaluation, planning, implementation, maintenance, and support, including patch management, system monitoring, performance tuning, and compliance with security baselines.
• Identify end-of-support hardware and software, and develop appropriate upgrade or replacement strategies.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to application development teams, operations staff, IT management, and other stakeholders.
• Track and report progress on system activities and project implementations to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of hardware and software inventory.
• Assist the supervisor in refining operational procedures to align with IT Department policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Contribute to Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) initiatives, including exercises and drills.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ professional IT experience, ideally within the banking or finance sector.
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure services and proven project management capabilities.
• Extensive background in Wintel system administration, covering change management, patch management, security management, vendor coordination, and application support.
• Deep understanding of Windows Security Baselines, with hands-on experience in application, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Solid knowledge of VMware, RemoteApp, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Patch Lifecycle, and Automation.
• Familiarity with Linux platforms is advantageous.
• Strong grasp of cloud technologies, including AWS and Google Cloud.
• Well-versed in IT policies, procedures, practices, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and strong risk awareness.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin skills are an added advantage.
