System Support
Responsibilities
To support users at office and remotely, develop, maintain and enhance all IT and ensure reliable and satisfactory operations to meet the service level requirements;
To prepare, maintain and update the system documentation to reflect the latest production systems;
To diagnose and resolve problems encountered during system implementation;
To assist the implementation of enhancing the existing IT systems and establishing new IT systems (if any) by playing the full role in project management, providing technical advice and direction, collecting user requirements, system analysis and design, recommending hardware and software and conducting system tests and user acceptance tests;
To assist the department to conduct data integrity checking, extraction, updating, editing, uploading and backup in both existing IT systems and new IT systems (if any) in daily operation.
Requirements
At least 2 years of system maintenance and support (SM&S) experience during past 10 years
Solid experience in hotline & helpdesk support
Experienced in the below systems is an advantage:
Mail System (IBM Notes), Active Directory (AD), CAD Drawings Management System (CDMS), Survey Data System (SDS), Mobile Mapping System (MMS), Survey Resources Management System (SRMS), Storage System of Road Image Capturing Services (RICS), Road Defect Detection System (RDDS), Road Image Storage System (RISS), etc.
These systems are composed of server machines (Windows Server 2012 or above); NAS and SAN storage; PCs and notebooks (Windows 10 or above); routers, switches and high speed modems; scanners, printers and photocopiers, etc.
