Responsibilities :

• Execute system-related tasks to ensure reliable and efficient computer systems supporting both development and production environments. This includes hardware/software evaluation, planning and implementation, maintenance and support, patch and fix application, system monitoring and tuning, security baseline compliance reviews, problem resolution, and capacity planning.
• Assess hardware and software approaching end-of-support and develop upgrade or replacement plans accordingly.
• Provide technical support and expert advice to application development teams, operations staff, IT management, and other stakeholders.
• Report on the progress of system activities and project implementations to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
• Assist the supervisor in optimizing operational procedures in alignment with IT Department policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and drills, and perform any other duties as assigned.

‍Requirements :

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional IT experience, preferably within the banking or finance sector.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure services and proven project management skills.
• Extensive experience in Wintel system administration, including change management, patch management, security management, vendor coordination, and application support.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Security Baselines, with expertise in application, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Good knowledge of VMware, RemoteApp, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Patch Lifecycle, and Automation; familiarity with Linux platforms is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS and Google Cloud.
• Well-versed in IT policies, procedures, practices, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills, risk awareness, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
