Responsibilities‍

• Lead storage & backup operations ensuring enterprise environments remain stable, reliable, and available
• Monitor system health to optimize performance and capacity utilization
• Validate backups and coordinate restoration and recovery requests
• Perform root cause analysis and lead troubleshooting for infrastructure issues
• Maintain documentation and continuously improve knowledge repositories
• Act as technical lead for incident, problem, change, and escalation management under ITIL practices
• Support mission‑critical services in a 24x7 environment including on‑call rotation
• Deploy and maintain platforms across storage and backup environments
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure service stability and operational excellence
• Identify automation opportunities for optimization and service improvement
• Lead infrastructure projects including refreshes, migrations, and modernization initiatives
• Coordinate disaster recovery planning, testing, and validation for business continuity
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and governance standards
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance scalability, resilience, and efficiency

Requirements‍

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
• 3–5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, storage, or backup environments
• Enterprise support experience in production environments
• Knowledge of storage technologies including SAN, NAS, and data protection architectures
• Backup & recovery expertise with disaster recovery and business continuity processes
• Hands‑on platform experience preferred in enterprise environments
• Cloud storage knowledge and hybrid infrastructure experience advantageous
• Security & compliance understanding for data protection and infrastructure operations
• Analytical & problem‑solving skills for managing complex technical issues
• Leadership capability with ability to guide team members
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Self‑motivated with proactive learning and development mindset
• Team collaboration both independently and within collaborative teams
• Relevant certifications such as Dell EMC, NetApp, Veeam, Commvault, Microsoft, AWS advantageous
