Role Overview

• Serve as the Technical Project Manager overseeing IT initiatives, particularly enhancements to the private cloud platform and integration of security solutions to support new application deployments.
• Direct project timelines and ensure successful technical delivery, including smooth operational transition prior to production rollout.
• Identify and manage interdependencies across multiple technology components during implementation.
• Address technical inquiries and lead problem isolation efforts to accelerate troubleshooting, ensuring alignment of resources and communication.
• Draft, review, and maintain project documentation such as design specifications.
• Govern key project aspects in line with established frameworks, including:
  -Scope & Scheduling: Develop project plans, consolidate vendor schedules into master plans, and determine critical paths.
  -Communication: Organize management meetings, prepare presentations, minutes, and progress reports, and ensure stakeholder engagement.
  -Budget Tracking: Monitor project expenditures and prepare financial reports against defined budgets.
  -Contract Oversight: Review vendor agreements to ensure contractual benefits are realized.
  -Priority Management: Keep critical-path tasks on track to meet delivery milestones.
• Monitor project risks, issues, and action items, ensuring timely resolution by responsible parties.
• Lead vendor project teams and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives on schedule.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and drive project closure activities.
• Carry out additional project-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, ideally within major financial institutions, with proven success in managing large-scale IT infrastructure or cloud platform projects.
• Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following areas: Public/private cloud platforms, Networking and security technologies (e.g., routing, firewalls, WAF), Kubernetes (K8S) and/or Service Mesh, DevOps tools and pipeline management, particularly Infrastructure as Code and automation, Centralized secret/vault management.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
• Familiarity with PMP or Prince2 methodologies; certification preferred.
• Experience in IT contract management, including resolution of contractual or commercial issues, is advantageous.
• Background in managing budgets for large-scale IT projects is preferred.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality project outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong multitasking ability, coupled with a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua capability is an asset.
